Where Your Donation Goes

When you donate to CoastBusters Walk for Breast Cancer, your gift stays local and helps breast cancer patients and their families right here on the Oregon Coast.

Funds raised through CoastBusters help provide support for medical and non-medical expenses that can become overwhelming during treatment. This may include things like gas cards, groceries, utility bills, lodging, transportation costs, household needs, and other everyday expenses that do not stop just because someone is facing cancer.

For many local patients, treatment means traveling from the coast to the valley for doctor appointments, surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, follow-up care, and specialist visits. That travel can add extra stress, time, and expense during an already difficult season. Your donation helps ease that burden so patients can focus more on healing and less on how they will manage the next appointment, bill, or trip.

CoastBusters works to keep support close to home, reaching people in our coastal communities who are navigating breast cancer and need a little help getting through the practical, real-life challenges of treatment.

A Dream We’re Working Toward

One of our big dreams is to help fund a transportation van that would take breast cancer patients from the coast to the valley for doctor appointments and treatment. For many patients, reliable transportation is one of the biggest barriers to care. A dedicated van would help remove that barrier, making it easier for patients to get to the appointments they need without the added worry of driving, arranging rides, or covering travel costs on their own.
