For triathlon directors

Photos across every leg — swim, bike, run.

Triathletes are impossible to shoot from one spot. PodiumBase matches them by face across the swim exit, transition, the bike course, and the finish — no bib required.

Where PodiumBase fits

Between an overpriced incumbent and a Drive link.

The incumbent

MarathonFoto-style

High per-photo pricing
  • ·Built for single-course road marathons
  • ·One bib angle — misses the swim entirely
  • ·Photos days later, not race day
The DIY option

A photographer + a Drive link

You coordinate everything
  • ·One shooter can’t cover three disciplines
  • ·Athletes scroll thousands of unsorted frames
  • ·No sales, no payouts, no matching
Recommended
The middle option

Podiumbase

Pay per pro, or rep-only $0
  • Face matching stitches all three legs into one gallery
  • Athletes find themselves in seconds — no bib needed
  • Photos live race day; you stay in the loop on sales
How it works

Three steps to race-day photos.

01

Athletes find by selfie

One selfie, no bib. Athletes find every photo of themselves in seconds — across every leg, station, or heat.

02

Photos go live race day

Pros upload as they shoot. Matched galleries are live within hours of the finish, not weeks later.

03

You pay nothing to start

Post a bounty zone with a floor, or run rep-only at $0. Stay in the loop on coverage and sales the whole way.

The triathlon difference

One athlete, three disciplines, one gallery.

A swimmer in a wetsuit and cap, a cyclist in a helmet and shades, a runner at the line — to a bib-reader those are three strangers. PodiumBase matches them as one person by face, so every leg lands in a single athlete gallery.

Wetsuit, cap, goggles — face matching catches the exit
BK

Helmet + sunglasses are no obstacle to matching
RUN

Two more ways in

For your athletes, and the pros who shoot them.

For athletes

Find your photos.

Athletes enroll one selfie and get every photo of themselves from your event — swim to finish, station to line — yours to buy and share.

For photographers

Shoot triathlon races.

Get paid to shoot the triathlon events already happening in your city — a guaranteed floor when you cover a zone, plus your share of photo sales.

Questions

Before you add your event.

Can you match an athlete in a wetsuit, cap, and goggles?
Yes. Matching uses facial geometry that survives caps, goggles, and helmets — and layers bib and timing-window signals as fallbacks. The swim exit is exactly where bib-only platforms fail and we don’t.
How do you cover three disciplines in different locations?
You post a bounty zone per discipline — swim exit, bike, run/finish — and pros opt into the legs they can shoot. Every photo flows into one event gallery regardless of which leg or which photographer.
My athletes don’t have a visible bib during the swim. How do they find those photos?
They don’t need a bib. An athlete enrolls one selfie and we surface every photo of them across all legs — including the swim, where no number is readable.
What does it cost me?
You set a guaranteed floor per bounty zone (suggested per discipline) and only pay the gap after photo sales — or run rep-only at $0 and pros earn from sales alone. No retainer either way.
Do you handle relay teams?
Yes. Each relay leg is matched to its own athlete, so every team member gets their own photos from the segment they raced.
