Questions

Before you sign up.

What’s your cut?
You keep 60% of every digital photo sale and 80% of net-after-COGS print sales. On a payment-backed assignment, eligible sale earnings count toward the guaranteed minimum. If they fall short after required coverage, settlement tops you up; if they exceed it, you keep the higher eligible earnings.
What’s the difference between Pro and Community tier?
Same rate — 60% on digital, 80% on prints — for both. The difference is price band and access: Pro photos sell at $14.99–$39.99 and require identity verification plus liability insurance; Community photos sell at $3.99 with a lightweight signup. Race directors typically accept Pro photographers for paid event assignments; Community is for spectator and family uploads.
When do I get paid?
Through Stripe Connect on the payout schedule configured for your account. Eligible floor and sales earnings are issued after the applicable release checks; bank settlement occurs afterward.
Do I own my photos?
Yes. You keep full copyright. Athletes buy a license to their own photos — you license, you don’t assign.
What if no one buys photos?
The guaranteed floor protects you. Cover the event and clear the coverage gate, and you’re paid the floor regardless of sales.
Is this only race photography?
For now, yes — running races first. Cycling, triathlon and club events are on the roadmap.
