2027 Peach Classic Triathlon.

The Peach Classic Triathlon is one of Canada's oldest triathlons, first raced in 1983 when 24 athletes lined up on the shores of Okanagan Lake in Penticton. That race later became IRONMAN Canada, the first North American IRONMAN held outside Hawaii. On July 10-11, 2027 the Peach Classic returns to Rotary Park Beach with a race for everyone: Standard, Sprint, Sprint Relay, Aqua Bike, Aquathlon, Super Sprint, Try a Tri and Kids races for ages 4 to 15. Standard, Sprint, Aqua Bike and Aquathlon are World Championship qualifying races. Swim in clear, temperate lake water, ride through rolling hills toward Naramata past orchards and wineries, then run out and back along Lakeshore Drive to the KVR Trail. Owned and run by the non-profit Penticton Triathlon Club and about 250 volunteers, the weekend ends with finisher medals, post-race food, a beer and wine garden and live music at Rotary Park.
