2026 Texas Gravel Champs

The race.

The 2026 Texas Gravel Champs takes place October 3 in Whitney, TX, at Lofer's Bend Day Use Area on Lake Whitney. Riders choose from three self-supported distances: 80 miles (with separate male age categories 29-and-under, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60-plus, plus female), 55 miles, and 35 miles. The 80-mile route is timed; the 55-mile and 35-mile routes are untimed. Neutral water tables support all riders; however, participants must carry their own hydration and there is no SAG support or on-course assistance available. Awards recognize top finishers overall and by gender and age category where minimum participation thresholds are met. An after-ride celebration with food and drinks follows for all participants.
