Countdown to the Finish – 5K, 10K, 10-Miler, Half Marathon 2026

Countdown to the Finish races on December 27, 2026, at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, California. Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K, or 10-mile distance, with the 5K and 10K starting at 7:30 a.m. and the 10-mile starting at 7 a.m. All courses are out-and-back routes on the beach path. Bib pickup begins at 6:20 a.m. race morning at tables near Claremont Avenue, with early pickup available December 26 at Sports Basement Long Beach. Every finisher receives a medal, and overall first-place winners in each distance earn additional recognition. Water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks are available at the finish line and at a water station at Belmont Pier. The course closes at 10:20 a.m.
