On April 26, 2026, Indian Fields Tavern/5 Fields Brewing Co. in Charles City, VA hosts a rain-or-shine running event featuring three distances: a 5K (3.1 miles), a Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles), and a Half Marathon (13.1 miles). Packet pickup begins at 7:00 am with races starting at 8:00 am. All three distances run on the Capital Trail with an out-and-back course format starting from Indian Fields Tavern. Race participants receive an official time, a finisher's medal, a t-shirt or tank top (guaranteed only for registrations by April 6), and a finisher's beer. Water stations are available at turnaround points on the longer courses.
