Light The Way 5k 2026

The race.

Light The Way 5K takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, in Mission, TX, as the final event in the Mind Space Running Series. Participants can register for a 3.1-mile run beginning at 7:30 p.m. or a 1-mile run/walk starting at 7:40 p.m. Registration costs $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 1-mile distance. Race bibs and shirts are available for pickup on Friday, December 4 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Valley Running in McAllen. All finishers receive a medal, official race shirt, chip timing results, and access to a hydration station and free race photos. The course features illuminated decorations, a live DJ, a photo area, and local vendor booths. Awards are given to top male and female overall finishers and age group winners spanning 12 & under through 60–69. Register for a shirt by November 14 to guarantee sizing.
