Spring League - Loggerhead Curling Club 2026

June Rookie League

Bridge your instructional league skills into summer play with a fun, social 3-week mini-season. Register as an individual—$50 covers all three sessions. Each week you’ll draw a team and position from a hat (e.g., Team A, Skip or Team B, Lead), giving you the chance to meet other new curlers and try different roles. The idea is that everyone is learning together.

Dates/times: June 7: 4pm setup; 4:30 game June 14 6pm setup 6:30 game June 21 4pm setup; 4:30 game

Format: 6–7 ends per night (based on time); new teams formed weekly; supportive, peer-led environment; no coaching provided. Equipment Provided. Wear warm, flexible layers and bring clean, rubber-soled shoes. Eligibility: Ideal for curlers who have completed instructional league; true beginners who have completed a learn-to-curl session are welcome Capacity: Max 16; waitlist if full Cost/registration: $50 per person; registration link to be provided in week 4 followup email and on whatsapp Questions? Sign up deadline: Priority to instructional league members until Friday May 22 , then open to all members (including past instructional league and learn-to-curl participants)

June Open League

A 3-week (2-3 game) team-entry mini-season for members who want structured, competitive play ahead of summer bonspiels.

Dates/times (will be scheduled for 2-3 games during these times): June 7: 4pm setup; 4:30 game June 14 6pm setup 6:30 game June 21 4pm setup; 4:30 game

**Note: Social League also runs at 6:30 on June 7 and 21— players will have back-to-back games**

Pricing : $200 per 4-person team; $50/person. Choose your own teammates; club does not facilitate team formation. Check Team List for your Skip/Captain’s name.

Who can play: All team members must be current Loggerhead Curling Club or other GNCC/USACurling club-insured members

Format: Each team will play 2–3 games depending on total number of teams entered.

Subs: Subs ARE allowed at any time, but teams must secure their own subs or play short. The club will not facilitate. Subs must be current Loggerhead Curling Club members or members of another GNCC or USA Curling club for insurance purposes
