Ugly Sweater 5k 2026

The race.

The Ugly Sweater 5K takes place December 6, 2026, at Stony Creek Metropark in Shelby Township, Michigan. Participants can choose to run in person or virtually between December 1–6, with in-person registration including parking and admission to the metropark. All registrants receive a long-sleeve race tee or knit ugly sweater, finisher medal, and custom bib; hot coffee, cocoa, and cookies are available at the finish line. Virtual participants can arrange packet pickup at KidsUnited in Shelby Township on December 4 or add shipping during registration. Registration fees support Feeding America and local food banks. Fundraisers who raise $200 or more receive a full registration refund.
