About the race

The race.

Zeta Tau Alpha's University of Virginia chapter hosts this annual race to benefit the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, supporting scholarships, educational programming, leadership development, and breast cancer awareness initiatives. Participants can choose between a 5K or 5-mile distance on April 12, 2026, starting and finishing at Madison Bowl in Charlottesville, adjacent to UVA Grounds between Rugby Road and Madison Lane. Virtual participation is available; runners can complete the race in their hometown and submit times online for leaderboard ranking. The event has historically attracted approximately 1,000 participants and raised nearly $30,000 annually for breast cancer causes.
