The race.
The Louisiana Highway Safety Commission hosts this 5K run/walk on October 10, 2026, in Baton Rouge at Louisiana State Police Headquarters (7919 Independence Boulevard). The event celebrates Pedestrian Safety Month and welcomes participants from across Louisiana. Registration is open through October 10th, with race-day packet pickup beginning at 7:00 a.m. and the 5K start time at 8:00 a.m. The entry fee is $25, and all participants receive a free adult t-shirt in sizes small through 3XL. Post-race activities begin at 8:30 a.m.
