10,000 Meter on Van Meter 2026

The race.

The 10,000 Meter on Van Meter takes place September 26, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. at Kroger Youth Soccer Complex, 2583 Van Meter Road in Winchester, Kentucky. Participants can choose between a 10K run or 5K walk on an asphalt out-and-back course. Cash prizes go to the top three male and female finishers in each distance, plus additional prizes for top three male and female runners in age groups ranging from 11 and under through 70 and older. All finishers receive a complimentary t-shirt, fruit, snacks, water, and coffee. Early packet pickup occurs Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at College Park in Winchester; race-day registration begins at 7:00 a.m. Register by Friday, August 28, to select your t-shirt size. The race benefits National Recovery Month awareness.
