The race.

The 11th Annual Brent Morrison Memorial No Runners Forgotten 8K takes place July 11, 2026, in Barling, Arkansas. This certified 8K course is part of the 2026 Arkansas Grand Prix Championship Race. The race honors Brent Morrison, an avid runner in the River Valley and Hot Springs area, as well as other runners no longer with us. All finishers receive an award, with age group awards presented. Food and music follow the race. Registration remains open until 6:30 a.m. on race day. Proceeds benefit the Western Arkansas Running Club's junior clinic, a memorial site for Brent Morrison, and the club's weekly runs and community programs.
