The race.
The 17th Annual Farmington River Run 5K Trail Race takes place on September 20, 2026, at Winding Trails in Farmington, Connecticut. Registration begins at 9am with the 5K trail race starting at 10am. The course covers 5 kilometers on designated trails within the 300-acre Winding Trails property around Walton Pond. Awards are given to first-place overall finishers by gender, age group winners (18 and under, 19–49, and 50 and above), and Farmington residents (the Lee Chisholm Award for male and female local finishers).
