2025 11th Annual Running of the Bulldogs Fun Run 2026

The race.

The 11th annual Running of the Bulldogs takes place October 24, 2026, at McKinney North High School in McKinney, Texas. Participants can choose from a 1-mile run (8:30 a.m. start), 5K (9:00 a.m.), 10K, or 15K. The course winds through the Timber Creek neighborhood with rolling hills, starting on campus and finishing the final 300 meters on the high school track. Mile finishers receive ribbons; 5K participants earn custom medals. Age group and gender winners receive trophies, while top overall male and female finishers get sunglasses from Sunglass Hut and $150 Fleet Feet gift cards. Proceeds benefit McKinney North High School's cross country and track & field programs. Packet pickup occurs October 24 at Pickleman's (4020 W University Drive, Suite 400) from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
