About the race
The race.
The 2026 All Paws on the Ground 5K takes place August 15 at Uncle John's Cider Mill in Saint Johns, Michigan. The 5K begins at 9:00 a.m., with a separate Young Pups Kids' Dash at 8:45 a.m. for children of all ages. Registration and bib/shirt pickup open at 8:00 a.m. Both the kids' dash and full 5K include a race t-shirt and participation medal with entry through July 30th. Dogs on leash are welcome to run with participants. The event benefits Giving Paws nonprofit and features vendors, a family scavenger hunt, a pup cup station, and a frisbee challenge. A virtual 5K option with mailed shirt and medal is also available. The Dog Daze of Summer activities run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
