The race.
The 2026 Average Joe Run 5K takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Tropical Park in Miami, Florida. This 5K event features a scenic route along a beachside path. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and age group winners, with a special prize for the finisher who crosses in the exact middle of the pack. All participants receive a personalized race bib, dri-fit event shirt, and finisher medal. Post-race refreshments include unlimited donuts and coffee.
