2026 Coopers Rock Climb-a-thon!

The race.

The Coopers Rock Climb-a-thon takes place on October 11, 2026, in Bruceton Mills, WV. Participants compete in top rope climbing over three hours, with scoring based on both difficulty and total vertical distance climbed. The event features 50+ climbs ranging from 5.2 to 5.11+ difficulty grades and welcomes ages 8 and up. All proceeds benefit the Outdoor Leadership & Adventure Education program at Garrett College. Fundraising is optional; participants who raise $250 or more receive a waived entry fee, and those raising over $500 earn a $100 gift certificate for adventure activities. Prizes are awarded to top climbers and top fundraisers, with each registration including one raffle ticket, plus one additional ticket per $100 raised.
