The race.
The 2026 Hot Diggity Dog 5K takes place on November 28 at 9:00 a.m., starting and finishing at Saint Albans High School in Saint Albans, WV. This timed 5K race is free to enter, with proceeds benefiting the Putnam County Animal Shelter. Commemorative race shirts are available for $20 if ordered by November 13. Race day donations of dog and cat food, toys, and other supplies are also accepted and will be delivered to the shelter.
