The race.
On October 4, 2026, Hua Sports hosts a 5K, half marathon, and marathon in Point of Rocks, MD, following the C&O Canal Towpath on a flat, gravel path. All three distances start and finish at the same location. The 5K has no time limit; the half marathon (no time limit) starts at 7:15 AM; the marathon starts at 7:00 AM with a 5-hour-30-minute cutoff. Minimum age requirements are 8 for the 5K, 13 for the half marathon, and 16 for the marathon. All finishers receive medals and T-shirts. Packet pickup occurs race day from 6:00 to 6:45 AM. The course is USATF-certified and eligible for Boston Marathon qualification.
