2026 Lake Casitas Short Course Championships (Middle School Racer Sign Ups ONLY)

The race.

The 2026 Lake Casitas Short Course Championships middle school race takes place on October 30 at Lake Casitas in Ventura, CA. The 1.9-mile race begins at 4:15 p.m. on the Lake Casitas Cross Country Course. Top 30 finishers in each gender receive medals at the finish. Custom t-shirts and a snack bar are available for purchase. Water stations are located at Spectator Hill, near restrooms, and in camping areas, with cups provided at the finish line. Registration requires a $5 fee through RunSignUp; race day registration is available for $25. A $10 park entry fee applies per vehicle. The race will not run if fewer than 40 sign-ups are received by October 27.
