The race.
The 2026 Leaf Peeper Half Marathon takes place September 26 in Cortland, NY, starting at 7:30 AM from Yama Park. Check-in begins at 6:30 AM and closes 15 minutes before the race start. The half-marathon course begins near the pavilions, loops behind the lake, passes the playground, and travels down East River Road before turning around and returning to the starting line. Parking is available at the park. Race shirt registration closes September 4 at midnight, and final race registration closes September 25 at noon. Day-of registration is available for cash payment only.
