About the race
The race.
The 2026 LVRR August Kids Series is a free event for children ages 3–14 held on August 1 in Lehigh Parkway, Allentown, PA. Six distance options are offered based on age groups: ages 3–4 run 0.125 miles, ages 5–6 run 0.25 miles, ages 7–8 run 0.5 miles, ages 9–10 run 1 mile, ages 11–12 run 1.5 miles, and ages 13–14 run 2 miles. Wave starts are used for ages 3–6. Online registration is required and closes the Wednesday before race day; no race day registration is available. All participants receive a finisher ribbon, water, and a snack.
