The race.
The 2026 Marine Corps Marathon takes place in Arlington, VA on October 25, 2026. This marathon event partners with Girls on the Run, a program serving 3rd through 8th grade girls in western Maryland through confidence-building curriculum and physical activity. Participants can register as SoleMates, which combines marathon training with fundraising to support Girls on the Run programming. SoleMates receive branded apparel, personalized fundraising pages, and access to a community of other participants. Funds raised directly support Girls on the Run's services in the local community.
