The race.
The 2026 Moose Loop Trail Challenge takes place September 12 in Anchorage, Alaska. Participants can choose from four distances: 5K, 10K, 25.75K, or 51.5K. The event follows the Moose Loop trail system that circles the city. This untimed, all-ages event benefits the Anchorage Park Foundation and welcomes runners, walkers, cyclists, and other participants at their own pace.
