2026 Ohio Cross Country Middle School State Championships

The race.

The 2026 Ohio Cross Country Middle School State Championships will be held October 25 in Dublin, OH at Dublin Jerome High School. The middle school race covers 2 miles on a trail course that winds through wooded terrain before finishing on a straightaway in the football stadium. Packet pickup includes a zippered team bag with race materials and a neoprene wristband for each runner. Top 15 finishers in each race receive custom red enamel medals, chocolate bars, and entry into drawings for additional prizes including gumball machines. Individual championship medals are awarded to every member of winning teams, along with 40 team trophies distributed across all races. The overall state champions—Ohio's fastest boy and girl—receive large trophies, jeweled crowns, and championship rings.
