2026 Open Water Series Race #4

The race.

The 2026 Open Water Series Race #4, held July 21 in Norristown, PA, features 800-meter and 1-mile swimming events organized by French Creek Racing. Wave starts begin at 5:00 PM, with the competitive heat at 6:30 PM; 1-mile swimmers must start by 6:00 PM. Registration opens until 9:00 AM race day at the start location, 1400 S. Trooper Road (approximately 300 yards downstream from the Route 422 bridge). Participants must be registered for the full six-race series to earn series points and awards. Series registrants confirmed by April 4 receive a t-shirt and custom award. Hand-timed results conclude when swimmers touch the floating dock finish line. No on-site restrooms or changing facilities are available.
