2026 Open Water Series Race #6

The race.

The 2026 Open Water Series Race #6, hosted by French Creek Racing on August 25, features 800-meter and 1-mile swimming distances in open water at French Creek in Norristown, PA (1400 S. Trooper Rd.). Wave starts begin at 5:00 PM with 30-minute intervals; the 1-mile swim must start by 6:00 PM. Participants must be registered for the full six-race series to earn series points and awards. Series registrants who register by April 4 receive a series t-shirt and custom award. Pre-registration closes at 9:00 AM race day, with on-site registration available for an additional $5 fee. Hand timing ends when swimmers touch the floating dock at the finish. No refunds are issued, though transfers to other events are available with seven days' notice.
