About the race
The race.
The 2026 PeDRA Dash for Discovery takes place October 10–17, 2026, in Alexandria, VA, and offers both in-person and virtual participation options. Runners and walkers can choose a 5K or 1-mile distance. The in-person event includes a group yoga session on Saturday, October 17. Participants select a Focused Study Group team supporting pediatric skin disease research; fundraising is optional. The first 100 registrants receive a race t-shirt, distributed at check-in for in-person participants or by mail for virtual participants in North America.
