About the race
The race.
The 2026 Ranger Ruck takes place on September 12 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Participants can ruck with a 35-pound weighted pack, run, or walk the 6.2-mile course, which starts at UWSP Marshfield Clinic Champions Hall and passes through Schmeeckle Reserve. Awards go to the top three finishers in both the ruck category and the run/walk category. All participants receive an event t-shirt and goody bag at packet pickup. Proceeds benefit the Army ROTC Cadets program.
