2026 San Diego Tri Classic & San Diego 5K

The race.

The San Diego Tri Classic & San Diego 5K takes place Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Liberty Station in San Diego, CA. Multiple event options are available: Olympic-distance triathlon (1500m swim, 40k bike, 10k run), sprint-distance triathlon (500m swim, 20k bike, 5k run), Olympic relay triathlon for 3-person teams, Olympic aquabike (1500m swim, 40k bike), sprint aquabike (500m swim, 20k bike), sprint duathlon (1-mile run, 20k bike, 5k run), sprint aquathlon (500m swim, 5k run), and a 5K run. The swim course uses San Diego Bay, the bike course covers Point Loma and Rosecrans National Cemetery, and the run includes waterfront trails at Liberty Station near a retired battleship. Post-race celebration and finisher swag are provided.
