2026 Silver Strand Veterans Day Half Marathon, 10 Miler, 12K & 5K - San Diego

The race.

The 2026 Silver Strand Veterans Day race takes place November 8 in Coronado, California, offering five distance options: a half marathon (13.1 miles), 10-mile, 10-kilometer, 12-kilometer, and 5-kilometer courses, plus virtual and 8-mile options. The point-to-point course runs along Silver Strand Highway with closed roads, ocean on one side and bay on the other. Finishers receive a surfboard-shaped bottle opener medal with keychain lanyard, a choice of Hawaiian button-up shirt or runner dress, water bottle sticker, and live music and beach party amenities at the finish. Half-marathon participants earn an exclusive 13.1 sticker. Free parking and shuttle service back to the start are provided. Proceeds benefit the Life Sports Foundation, Team Hoyt, and Islander Sports Foundation.
