About the race
The race.
The eighth annual Unite to Fight 5K Run/Walk takes place on August 23, 2026, at Mill River Park in Stamford, Connecticut, benefiting Filling in the Blanks, an organization addressing childhood food insecurity in the region. Participants who register in person receive a race t-shirt (based on availability for registrations after July 17) and a medal upon completion. The top three finishers in both male and female categories win gift certificates from Fleet Feet Westport. The race runs rain or shine.
