2026 Walk,Run,Read for Literacy! Sept. 19th

The race.

On September 19, 2026, the Walk, Run, Read for Literacy event takes place in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, featuring a 5K run/walk and a Kids Dash for ages 12 and under (free for children 6 and under). The 5K begins at Coeur d'Alene City Park and follows an out-and-back course along the Idaho Centennial Trail with a turnaround before the Highway 95 bridge; water stations are provided along the route. The Kids Dash runs on a loop course within the park. Top three 5K finishers receive prizes, and all Kids Dash participants earn medals. All race proceeds benefit The Literacy Project of North Idaho, a nonprofit supporting adult literacy and English language skills in the community. A book swap and sale, games, and activities accompany the event.
