The race.

The 20th Annual Run for Riley 5 Mile & 5K takes place October 4, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, organized by the Fort Wayne Running Club and sponsored by ProFed Credit Union. Participants choose between a chip-timed 5-mile race or a 5K event, both starting at Maple Creek Middle School and using the Fort Wayne Greenway's paved trails before finishing on the school track. Packet pickup is available Saturday, October 3 from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Fleet Feet North on Dupont Road, or race day from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. All proceeds benefit Riley Children's Hospital. A silent auction runs until the race begins, with items and results viewable after the event. Post-race activities include awards for the 5-mile finishers, refreshments, and an announcement of the total donation to Riley Hospital.
