20th Annual Seedorf / McMeekin 5k Run 2026

The race.

The 20th Annual Seedorf / McMeekin 5K Run takes place August 29, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in Atlantic City, NJ, starting and finishing at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on the boardwalk at Pennsylvania Avenue. The 5K course runs south toward Ventnor with a turnaround at Montpelier Avenue, covering an out-and-back route on the boardwalk. Registration costs $40 in advance or $50 on race day; packet pickup occurs 8:30–9:15 a.m. the morning of the race. The first 100 pre-registered participants receive event t-shirts. Finishers enjoy complimentary food including fruit, breakfast sandwiches, tortillas, and chicken wings, plus discounted beverages and a DJ-hosted after-party. Awards go to the top three overall finishers in each gender and first-place winners in age groups ranging from 14 & Under through 70+. The race benefits Atlantic City Fire Fighters Local 198 and honors the memory of Fire Fighter John Seedorf and Police Officer Thomas McMeekin.
