22nd POTOMAC STREET MILE 2026

The race.

The 22nd Potomac Street Mile takes place August 29, 2026, in Brunswick, Maryland, starting and finishing at Square Corner Park at 1 East Potomac Street. Participants can choose between a 1-mile or 2-mile out-and-back course on East Potomac Street. Two heats are scheduled: age 12 and under at 9:00 AM, and age 13 and over at 9:30 AM. Pre-registration closes August 15, 2026. All pre-registered participants receive a guaranteed t-shirt; race day registration shirts are first-come, first-served. Awards include plaques for first and second place overall by gender and first place in three age groups (8–12, 13–17, 18 and over) by gender. Race proceeds benefit the Brunswick Heritage Museum and Brunswick Area Food Bank.
