The race.
The 23rd Sea Colony Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, November 29, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Sea Colony Fitness Center in Bethany Beach, Delaware. The 5K course runs through the Sea Colony development. Pre-registration costs $30 through November 28 at midnight, with race-day registration available from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. for $35. Participants receive a custom short-sleeve cotton race shirt (guaranteed if registered by November 16), refreshments, and awards presented to overall, master, and top-three finishers in age groups ranging from 9 and under through 80 and older. Net proceeds benefit Special Olympics Delaware and the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company.
