The race.
The "25 JAM" 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk takes place on August 22, 2026, in New Castle, PA. Participants can choose between a 5K run/walk or a 1-mile walk. The event starts at 9:00 AM, with check-in beginning at 8:00 AM for t-shirt distribution. Cash prizes are awarded to the fastest 5K runner ($125) and fastest walker ($50). All finishers receive t-shirts (deadline to guarantee one: August 8) and can participate in a creative red socks contest for an additional prize. Food and a DJ are provided. Proceeds benefit New Castle Area student athletes through "The Little Brother Scholarship" and 25JAM mentorship programs.
