The race.

The Chilly Cheeks Christmas 5K takes place December 20, 2026, in Hermitage, PA, at Buhl Park. Participants run or walk a 5K through the park. Registration opens at 3:00 p.m. at the Casino building, with the race starting at 4:45 p.m. Packet pickup is available December 19 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Hermitage Agway (4065 E State St.) or on race day at the Casino building starting at 3:00 p.m. All finishers receive wooden Christmas tree ornaments. Award winners in five-year age groups from 1 to 75+ receive medals. Costume contest categories include Jolliest Male, Jolliest Female, and Jolliest Couple/Group, with gift baskets as prizes. Optional race shirts cost $10. Post-race refreshments include Christmas cookies and hot chocolate. Proceeds benefit PACFI.
