The 3H Trail Half Marathon and DHRT 50K take place on August 8, 2026, in King George, Virginia, on the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail. Runners can choose between a half marathon or 50K distance, both following out-and-back routes on a rails-to-trails course that is mostly flat with some sections containing roots and bog boards. The half marathon has a 4-hour time limit and the 50K has an 8-hour time limit; both runners and walkers are welcome. All finishers receive a choice of tank top or t-shirt, a finisher's medal, and complimentary ice cream. Cash prizes are awarded, and food and additional merchandise are provided.
