3rd Harvest Hustle 5k Run & 1k "Fun" Walk 2026

The race.

The 3rd Harvest Hustle takes place September 19, 2026, at Fort Miles in Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes, Delaware. Participants can choose between a 5K run or a 1K walk on a flat course that extends toward Herring Point and back. Registration opens online and by mail through Seashore Striders, with pre-registration ($25 for the 5K, $20 for the 1K) available through September 13. Race-day registration runs from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Finishers receive custom t-shirts and refreshments; the 5K awards ceremony takes place within 20 minutes of the final finisher, with prizes for overall champions, masters (40+), and top three finishers in age groups from 9 and under through 70+. Proceeds benefit the Village Volunteers.
