About the race

The race.

The 4 on the 4th Run to the Top takes place July 4, 2026, at White Tank Regional Park in Waddell, Arizona. This 4-mile run starts at the park entrance and finishes at the top of the park. The race begins at 6:00 a.m., with packet pickup at 5:05 a.m. and shuttles to the start line running from 5:10 a.m. to 5:45 a.m. Water stations are located at miles 2 and 3. Finishers receive a medal and t-shirt; registration by July 2 guarantees a shirt. Awards are given to the top 4 overall finishers in both male and female categories, plus top 4 finishers in age groups: 19 and under, 20–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 and over. Refreshments and snacks are available at the finish line.
