The race.

The 40th Annual Cole Porter Classic takes place on October 3, 2026, in Peru, Indiana, featuring three distances: a 6.2-mile run, a 3.1-mile run, and a 9.3-mile run. All events start at 9:00 AM from the Miami County YMCA. The course follows Riverwalk Park trail, city streets, and the Nickel Plate Trail, with all races beginning and ending at the YMCA. Packet pickup occurs at the YMCA starting at 7:30 AM on race day; pre-registration closes September 27 at 11:59 PM and guarantees a long-sleeved shirt, while late online registration is available through 3:00 PM on October 2. Age group and overall winners receive awards across multiple categories, the first 150 finishers receive medals, and the course includes water stations and chip timing.
