42nd Annual Central Park Duathlon/Team Boat Relay 2026

The race.

The 42nd Annual Central Park Duathlon takes place on October 4, 2026, starting at 7:00 a.m. from the Central Park Boat House parking lot in New York. Competitors may enter as solo athletes or as two-person teams. Solo participants complete a run of 2.2 miles, a bike loop of 12 miles around Central Park Drive (including Harlem Hill, totaling approximately 300 feet of elevation gain), and a second 2.2-mile run. Team competitors divide the running and biking segments between two athletes, then both row boats 0.7 miles through Central Park Lake, finishing at the boat dock. The bike route covers Central Park Drive twice, and the first run follows the east side with a turnaround near the 96th Street Margaret L Kempner Playground. This race is not USAT certified or sanctioned.
