About the race
The race.
The 4th Annual Midland Cheetah's Youth Track and Field Meet takes place July 24–25 at J.M. King Memorial Stadium in Greenwood, Midland, TX. Open to athletes ages 18 and under, the meet costs $15 per entry with unlimited events allowed. Friday July 24 begins at 4:00 p.m. with check-in, featuring events for Tiny Tots (ages 6 and under) including 50M and 100M dashes, long jump, and softball throw, plus high jump (ages 7+), discus (ages 13+), and 1600M run (ages 7+). Saturday July 25 starts at 7:00 a.m. with field events—triple jump (ages 13+) at 7:30 a.m. and long jump (ages 7+) at 8:00 a.m.—followed by running events: 800M, 100M, 400M, and 200M (all ages 7+); 80M/100M/110M hurdles (ages 11+); and 300M hurdles (ages 13+). Entry deadline is Wednesday, July 22 at midnight. Age divisions are determined by athlete age as of July 24, 2026.
