The race.
The 5K for The Kids: Race Through the Decades takes place October 31, 2026, at 108 Legion Parkway in Oblong, IL, with a start time of 8:00 AM. Participants can run or walk the 3.1-mile course. The $30 entry fee supports the Oblong Children's Christian Home. T-shirt guarantee requires registration by October 9, with final registration available through race morning. Awards are presented in male and female categories across ten age groups (10 and under through 72 and over) as well as overall male and female winners. Costume participation is encouraged with prizes awarded.
