The race.
The Melrose Park Family Fun Run 5K takes place on October 4, 2026, in Melrose Park, IL. The 5K run or walk is open to participants ages 5 and older of all fitness levels. Registration includes a bib number, t-shirt, and medal (children's race participants receive a medal only). Packet pickup and check-in occur October 2 from 4:30–9:00 PM and October 3 from 1:00–8:00 PM at 841 Elsie Drive, Melrose Park, Illinois 60160. A community health fair featuring wellness education and preventive resources accompanies the race.
