The race.
The 5K/K9 Heroes is a 3.1-mile run/walk held on September 27, 2026, in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, starting at 10:30 AM at 148 Peck St. Hosted by the K9 PTSD Research Center, the event benefits the care and support of service K9s. K9 Hero Awards begin at 10:00 AM, preceding the 5K start. Children under 12 run or walk free; the first 300 registrants receive an official race t-shirt. The day includes live K9 demonstrations, military demonstrations, kids' activities, and food trucks.
